SnS I was great, but personally I always felt like
SnS II is a better series overall. I always saw
SnS I as some sort of interlude between two sublime series (CotS and SnS II). Don't get me wrong, I thought it was an awesome show, but somewhat weaker than the other two, though not necessarily by much (mainly because I thought they spent too much time on showing us space battles). Still, there are a couple of incredibly poignant scenes in there that make this series stand out amongst other space-operas.
