Sci Fi > Space Opera
Mystery > Supernatural Mystery
Further Suggestions:
Fantasy > Heroic fantasy (stuff like Conan the Barbarian where you just get brutes killing their way macho-style through enemies)
Fantasy > High fantasy (distinctly European medieval, castles, dragons, fairies - Berserk is classic case, and I think so would be Record of Lodoss War) Maybe call it 'medieval fantasy' instead
