just came up with a reason why they wouldnt implement what u are requesting, im referring to this list here:

getting there might be a bit intricate but this list pretty much contains everything u want... more or less^^
another reason against it would be that not all new shows have already been added to the anirec (as u know there has to be a minimum of at least 3 ep released till they can be added), and thus it would be pointless to list new shows on the main side as im also pretty sure that sothis would like to link them to their honorable anirec entrys
well this are all the arguments i was able to come up with
PS: but of course it would be possible to link the new shows to anidb
