Hack Sign was a true work of art. Crisp animation, great character design, and a gripping story all toped off with an awesome sound track. On the other hand if you’re looking for something with a lot of action, then this is probably not for you.

The series is based around the Role Playing Game of the future. The players who play via a VR headset are totally absorbed into “The World”. When they enter there is no keyboard, there is no mouse, and there is no screen…… just lush fields, towns and dungeons. It all starts when our main character Tsukasa wakes up in the world not quite sure of what just happened. From there the story develops quickly and you meet some of the main characters, Tsukasa alienates most of them and you get the feeling he just wants to be alone. The twist and main part of the story comes when Tsukasa tries to log out but cant, he thinks it may be a small system error and doesn’t really bother him but it turns out to be far more sinister. Will he ever be able to log out or will he be trapped in there forever.

Hack Sign is one of my favourites even though there is little action I give it

9/10
