(Poem) As I watch.
It's been like a year or so since I last wrote, so here's a quick one.
As I watch.
As an audience to a play, or patrons to a film
I watch you, watching him,
One would gladly lay down their life, upon your whim
I watch you, watching him,
Heart on my sleeve, hanging on a limb
I watch you, watching him,
You stay on my mind, like a subliminal brim
I watch you, watching him,
No sympathy for you, and this you may concur,
as you watch him, watching another.
