Re: Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun
Ah, finally finished this one. It was good, and definitely better than most Shoujos. Characters were lovable, and quite funny at times. Characterization was solid. Blah… blah… blah… a lot of praise.
BUT.
Haru and Mitty… I don’t know. I just didn’t feel it even the slightest. They didn’t make me cry… or scream at my pc… or just cheer for them… nah, nothing. They are cute and what not, but I just don’t care about them as a couple. Not even close to my favorite Shoujo pairs… but they still work. No romantic conclusion… sadly that ruined the experience for me… So, all in all, nothing quite memorable or extraordinary here…
I’ll settle with 3/5, even though I didn’t like a lot of things… and I’d love to see second season.
