This just occurred to me as I re-watched SAO - the orphanage scene - why would there be so many children with the game? The game was supposed to have sold out within seconds of it's launch and those who got it were people who waited in line 3 days prior. There's no way a whole lot of children would have done that. I don't imagine parents camping outside skipping work for 3 days just to buy their kids the game either. I would honestly be surprised if there was 1 actual child in the game.
I don't remember if we addressed this point when the episode was out
