He even says this during the episode he goes after her, so he just totally contradicted himself. So again, my point remains the same. There was no purpose in running backwards to an area and play politics. He was helping Leafa, but at that time, she was just a chick he had met a few days before. And even if he had known she was Sugu, that STILL would not have mattered. It's a game to those people, Asuna is not.
