I bought a physical copy (the Insane Edition in fact), so it runs through Ubisofts "Uplay" bullcrap.
Well I assumed it wasn't accepting the activation key because it wasn't the actual release date for Aus at the time. I tried it again this morning, and thankfully it worked... so I guess I was right lol.
I'm looking forward to playing it tonight.
