Animes that became worse for you?
What animes started out great, and just lost something as the series went on? For me, I would have to say Claymore and Death Note.
Claymore started out great, but, in my opinion, they simply picked up the anime too quickly. The manga is nowhere near done, and when you are creating an anime that is faithful to the manga, this can be a problem. The last six or so episodes of the anime were a huge disappointment, with the ridiculously drawn-out and predictable fight with Rigardo, to the "synching with my Yoki" bit. -.-
Death Note. This is my favorite anime, but after episode 25 something died along with...well, you know. New unlikable characters come in and Light is such a jackass that I just wanted both him and Near to die. The reason it is still my favorite is due to the epicness of the first arc and how I still enjoyed it, though less, in the second.
