Episode 7

The group goes after Kanji after seeing him on the Midnight Channel. Narukami talks less than the others, but he seems to be getting funnier with each episode. So far, this battle did the best job of illustrating how hard it is for a person to accept the part of themselves that least want to. Even drawing your attention away from the real issue with the gay overtones was a good move, and pretty funny, too.

Narukami uses another ability that I didn't really get, but I assume was put in for the sake of the people that played the game, then tells Kanji he accepts him. Although, it's still kinda hard to believe that someone can overcome years of self loathing with a few encouraging words from someone they barely even know. Anyway, Kanji gets his persona, and they add another person to the group.

Episode 8

Everyone goes on a camping trip. The 'terrible cook' thing never gets old, or at least they never stop using it in anime. They meet Konishi's little brother who everyone avoids because of his sister. You tend to keep track of everyone they meet in this since it seems anyone can get a persona. The part when they didn't want to sleep next to Kanji even after he said he wasn't gay was funny, and so was the goofy teacher. Narukami kind of reminds me of Sousuke from Full Metal Panic, with the way he can be really funny without saying too much, like the face he had on when the girls kicked him and Yousuke off the cliff. Not too much happened, but it was still a funny episode.
