My favourite Brock scene is from the pilot, no youtube, just transcription I found online (if I searched I'd probably find the whole episode on rutube or something, but anyway)
Brock: (covered with blood; he stands, wiping knife on his pants) He prob'ly stowed away when we were down in Brazil last week. (flashily puts knife in
scabbard) Big one, too.
Quote:
DrV: Super good. (to guards) Oh, gentlemen - be careful not to get too close to the X-1's engines. (gravely) Cancer.
(Brock closes one panel on the X-1 & opens another; a giant crocodile snarls & attacks him.
UND: No way!
DrV: (to guards reaching for sidearms) No, no - no need for those. Watch.
(Brock gruesomely beats croc, then stabs it mercilessly)
UND: Good God - what's he doing now? (guards turn away in horror, puke)
DrV: Being thorough.
Skinny White UN Guard: Halt! Sir, you can't enter the United Nations with that weapon.
DrV: It's all right, soldier. Mr. Samson is my bodyguard.
SWUNG: Just the same, doctor, no weapons allowed. I'll have to confiscate it.
Brock: (sternly, standing in a huge pool of blood) Go ahead. (eye twitches; he grins maniacally) Take it from me.
(skinny white guard looks at skinny black guard, who shakes his head; skinny white guard breaks out in a sweat)

Well, the halfman is pretty awesome, it was just an example of someone (anyone) making other choices for series I (or anyone else) picked. I guess some might argue that on his own he wouldn't have the muscle to back his brilliance, though he seems to fair well enough with his shield, his axe, the crossbow or even lances.
And now for another entry.
Alpha - Dollhouse
River Tam - Firefly (particularly in the movie)
Unfortunatley I don't remember the 4400 well enough to make a decision. Summer Glau's ability was pretty baller though, even if her character wasn't badass...at all.
