This thread should be used to post backgrounds that you create for the signatures. Images may be placed into series specific threads by the moderators.
Want to make a signature?

You may use this template to help determine which colors/images work the best:
Right click, save as. However, the image you submit must be ONLY the background jpg, not a flattened image with the template.
Signatures are 500x130 pixels. However, you do not have the ability to change the placement of the content box or other elements.
Look at the following images to get an idea of how much of the 500x130 image is visible, after the template is put on top. (there are two images: one of them corresponds to the "anime list statistics" template, and the other for "currently watching" and "top 5 anime").
You must also include the two colors (in hex format) that the user will use when creating the signature.
NOTE: Choose a light (not dark or vibrant) color for color 1. Bright/dark colors look blurry when used for color 1. If you want examples, try creating a signature in the tool with Color 1 as 0000FF and then look at how it renders.
Posting format for signature creators:
*post the image* (must be 50k or lower, jpg format -- please save at the highest possible quality under these guidelines). The image MUST NOT be a flattened template image -- just the background image itself.

Light/Dark:
Note about light/dark:
Choosing "light" in the sig creation process will use black text for the headers, while "dark" will use white text. Because of this, try to keep the background image solid and all light or dark behind both "my life spent on anime" and the box header. For example, if the image behind "my life on anime" is light, and it is dark behind the box header, that won't look as good as it could. o keep the background image next to "my life spent on anime" and the box header
Images may not be used in the series threads if:
-The image is blurry
-The image is stretched
-The image is too similar to another image (ex: two sig images have the same character in the same position, on the same kind of simplistic background)
-The image doesn't have a flowing background. Putting a hard vertical line with different content on both sides will generally not be used.
-The image has title text (sometimes this works, most of the time it does not)
-The image has characters or important features that will be chopped off once the template is overlaid on top of it.
It is up to the moderators' discretion for which to choose for the series threads, but please post whatever you come up with here, regardless!
