I'm reading Strobe Edge right now and its so far so good, probably my favourite.
Kamisama Kazoku isn't bad, and I've been told Durarara!! is popular in Japan and is worth having a look at. Also you can't go wrong with Spice and Wolf. The LN for Kimi ni Todoke seems little lacking compared to the anime or manga. I don't know if you can get these these titles in English, though.
