Alliance Entertainment DOESN'T HAVE THE RIGHTS TO IT. Both Canada and the U.S. are Region 1, and Buena Vista distributes DVDs in both Canada and the U.S. (most DVD distributors don't even bother noting the difference between the two, hence why so many U.S. films are released with French subs, it makes it easier to market across the northern border without needing two versions in the same region). It's a bootleg.

I've seen plenty of well-done bootlegs (hell, the Hong Kong Dirty Pair OVA bootlegs were packaged better than ADV's release), but that doesn't mean that they're legit. What matters is if it's distributed by the company with the legal rights to the show, and in this case that would be Buena Vista, not Alliance. Hell, if they had a such well-known property like that, they'd probably list it on their site before listing Pajanimals.
