I am opposed to the idea that ecchi and fanservice mean the same thing, but I'm sure I'm in the minority. I know that showing some skin is the most common method of fanservice, but I also think something like in R.O.D the TV, when
is fanservice too. It is a delicious treat for people who have been fans since the R.O.D OVA.
