You pretty much covered the basic questions.
Not much else can be said without answers to those.
However, there's a couple I have that don't play well on my DVD player & computer.
They're older FUNimation DVDs, when they use to do funky encoding with angles (changing from JP & Eng logos, ep. titles, and credits).
They haven't done that type of encode in a long time now though, however, the ones I have problems with are all the singles that I have from them:
Hell Girl
Fullmetal Alchemist (
half season boxsets, which are just repackaging of the singles)
Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid.
