Ah, this is great! However, I think that there are some quite good manga databases out there and one mostly only needs to copy/paste infos such as volume numbers etc. from them. Animenewsnetwork is okayish for that, and
Mangaupdates (even though it mainly is a scanlation releases site) is very good in my opinion.
Aside from that, I'd love to help out except with information gathering and editing. With the over 600 series and/or one-shots I have read I hope I can be of any help ^^
