You know the satisfaction you get from seeing the main antagonist's plot foiled? I didn't get that here, because unlike most antagonists who then go down with dignity or go out fighting, she cries. She cries and whines about how it's not fair, how even though she's killed plenty of people, she doesn't want to die, and how it's not really wrong what they did because the Shiki just wanted to feed themselves. YOU KILLED PEOPLE AND TERRORIZED THE VILLAGE, OF COURSE ITS FAIR THAT THE HUMANS FIGHT BACK AND KILL YOU ALL! Think back to what the old man told her when she was about to be killed. There are unspoken rules, and she broke them, and she has to pay for that. But she doesn't. Instead, she gets saved and probably lives to kill more people. She was a horrible character.
