He might be mad with a craving for vengence but I can not fully fault him either. In more ways than one he is technically right. When the law can do nothing but stand by and watch while countless victims are racked up and he is the only one to take action it is hard not to empathise with him if even a little. He may take a few extreme actions but that is somewhat understandable after what he experienced. Like the others infected with some disease, as they sometimes refer to it, he too is infected with a kind of sickness spawned by the crimes against him and his one true love. It is hard to totally hate him. He maybe the very kind of repurcussion long over due whom those in town deserve after repeatedly taking things to far. I would love to say the town, old and new parts, are innocent, but the environment of inaction only allowed these criminals to commit their acts of violence. By pretending or perhaps just agreeing to or believing the obvious lies that they moved away, these so called innocent townspeople only served to aid and abede the violent criminals.
