Scar is cool he is violent due to the need to avenge his fellow men (which he is 100% justified) he reminds me of sasuke uchiha but instead of a clan he avenges a country.

Whenever he killed Mufasa was just so sad, especially since his nephew had to witness it.

My previous comment about Scar corresponds to the 2003 anime ONLY - not the 2009 one. The 2003 anime left me hating Scar. It also was quite a depressing and anti-climactic ending in my humblest of opinions. In Brotherhood however, they developed Scar properly. Although he was one of my most hated characters from the 2003 anime, he ended up being one of my most beloved characters in Brotherhood. The original 2003 anime may have drawn a little more on emotions when developing its characters, but because of that, it beat certain traits into the ground in an unsalvagable manner (especially in the cases of Scar and Kimbly). Brotherhood introduces those traits, reinforces them, and then depicts a natural progression of those traits morphing from character flaws into great feats of strength.

Not to mention almost EVERYTHING relating to the Homunculi and the plpot progression itself is eons better in Brotherhood. What I'm saying is, if you hated Scar upon watcing the 2003 anime, give him another chance when you watch Brotherhood. The characters develop in different ways. You must shed your preconceptions that the 2003 anime created and enjoy the two as seperate (but unequal) masterpieces.
