Initially, Momoi being introduced as a typical ditzy pretty girl and being revealed to be an actually very observant and sly foe to Riko made me interested in Momoi as a character. Unfortunately, after Touou is defeated by Seirin or arguably a few episodes/chapters before the second match between Touou and Seirin, Momoi's character just goes nowhere outside of being a babysitter for Aomine, which is weird because as the series goes on the "fangirling for Kuroko" aspect of her gradually is removed from her character so you'd think that would've been the moment we see more for her, but then again KNB is a shonen so a female character being wasted shouldn't be surprising. Don't dislike her, but do feel sad at how pointless she is outside of being a plot device or fanservice.
I don’t hate her, but I don’t think she added anything to the series apart from female eye candy. The series wouldn’t exactly fall apart if you took her out of it, it’d just lack boobage I guess.
