Irene is the former number 2 Claymore from the time of Teresa, but now demoted to number 3 behind the new recruit Pricsilla. Calm and intelligent, she shows good leadership skills but can be cold and distant at times. She gets her nickname "Flash Sword Irene" from the Flash Sword Technique which involves moving her claymore so quickly in combat that it can't be seen.
