it's his fault takano is the way she is. after he killed himself he left a note to her saying he wanted her to succeed him in his work and "become god". at her age and under her circumstances she would clearly idolize him, seeing him as a good person who took her in and saved her from her suffering. of course she would feel obligated to carry on his will after he died, and he selfishly took advantage of that.
