Much like Sara WEREC, Emily is a character with a good concept but the potential is ultimately trashed. She's a very crucial character in the series as her technology has something to do with the plot and it is actually the very reason Ralph WEREC's personality changed. However, by the time the series tries to reveal Emily's complete history, that's where it gets bad. Emily is the kind of character who seems interesting from the start and feels like there is a mystery behind who she is that will be explained before the finale. Unfortunately, the scene that gives exposition to the mystery of Emily is underdevoped and her technology is very poorly-explained, leaving some unanswered questions. Additonally, her relationships with Sara and Ralph were extremely confusing, especially with the latter.
