Mitsuki is a young girl with a tumor in her throat, which prohibits her from achieving her aspirational dream of singing. Not only does her throat hold back her ability to sing, but her strict grandmother wants nothing to do with music. Determined not to let anything get in her way, she is constantly optimistic about fullfilling her dream, going so far as sneaking out to attend auditions. One day she hopes to keep a promise with her childhood friend, Eichi Sakurai.
