The future is dull and bleak without the existence of Steel Angels. The rain pours hard and heavy on more days than not and has an acidity to it that keeps most tucked away in their homes. Life is especially dull in the home of High School students Kurumi, Saki, Excelia and Karinka. When Kurumi comes home from a school club meeting with a blush to her face and a lovestruck expression, all the girls gather around, prodding for information. Kurumi has fallen head over heels for a boy named Michihito Kagura, and with the support of her friends she gathers the courage to tell him. But is Kurumi's love strong enough to withstand what fate has in store for her?
