The year is 2019. Delinquent biker gangs rule the streets of NeoTokyo, a city devastated by the mass destruction of a mysterious energy wave. In order to unlock the secrets of Akira, Tetsuo, an unlikely subject, is forced into unleashing his hidden powers, at the cost of his friends, his body, and his sanity.
