His inukami, Youko, is dedicated to make Keita completely hers. Her favorite form of punishment for him when he strays is teleporting him into the city completely naked. Like Zero no Tsukaima, Inukami! has similar plot elements of a perverted but kind-hearted young man paired with a beautiful magical girl who wants him to look only at her and punishes him thoroughly when he doesn't. It is an outrageously funny show with the connecting thread of the relationship between these two.

Both anime have a couple as the main characters. The ladies have magical powers that far exceeds the mens' abilities. There is a lot of ecchi and oggling by the men that they get punished for magically by the women. Although they have a lot of bickering and the men are continually looking at other ladies, they really do love each other.

These two series have main male character that is kind of perverted and concentrates of looking for woman, while the main female character tries to make gim concentrate on her. Magic, fighting, evil and lots of fun is what you can find in both of them.

With different cleaning habits and tempers, the two clash like night and day; that is, except for the fact that Taiga and Ryuuji have crushes on the other's good friend! With school rumors abounding, the duo must now work together to play matchmaker for each other. Who will end up with their true love?

The female protagonists of both series look alike they're both small and have this strong attitude. The comedy and romance in both of this animes are both great, so if you loved the other then you'll surely love this one too :D

Winterborn Winterborn says...

I would definetly say these two are pretty similar. Though Toradora has no magic, the female leads are identical and once you've seen both, you'll have a brighter outlook on Tsundere anime. Toradora is mroe dramatic, but in both you develope a great "relationship" with the two main characters and look foreward to their antics in the next episode. Both are great watcches.

Both series are mainly about budding love, yet both have a mythical, otherworldly quality. Shuffle! has women who are from the Demon world and Angel world vying for a mans attention, whereas Zero No Tsukaima has a man coming from earth as we know it to a whole different planet, where love begins to blossom between him and the women of that world. If you like romance with a little otherworldly twist, then you will surely enjoy one as you did the other.

Shakugan no Shana

Shakugan no Shana

Sakai Yuuji thought he was a normal high school student, until one fateful day when time stopped. Watching in horror, he witnesses a monster devouring the "frozen" people around him; but luckily for Yuuji, he is saved by a sword-wielding red-headed girl that calls herself a "Flame Haze". The girl informs him that he has been dead for some time now and that his current self is merely a replacement for the human that he used be while alive. He is, she says, merely a torch whose life will come to an end when the blue flame in his chest ceases to burn. After this rude awakening, Yuuji realizes that he is able to see the flames of life in other "torches"; and after discovering that a friend of his is also a torch -- and her life is burning out faster than his – he gains the courage to live out the rest of his life with meaning. Will Yuuji be able to find his place in the world before he ceases to exist?

Can I hear an "awkward romance?" That is just what you'll get from these series. If you liked the dominance of the female protagonist in Zero then you will fall in love with the protagonist of Shana. Not only that, but the shows are both drawn in the same style. If you found Zero to your liking, then you will love Shana. The only downside is that there is no harem in Shana. Other than that, it's an awesome series.
