Both of these are light hearted comedies with cute girls and some kind of aliens of some sort. Also with both of these there a girl that appears and a guy who takes care of her. Overall these both have the same feel to them as well.

Both anime include the magical girls that fight in a group, all of whom want the attention of a rather ragular-seeming guy. There is also a bit of ecchi in each anime, and an underlying drama.
