Kogoruhn

Both shows have similar protaginists who no matter how hard they try can never seem to get it right. Whenever I saw Ichigo I thought of Sana.

Nodame Cantabile

Nodame Cantabile

The studious and uptight Chiaki is well-known as the top pianist of his school, and dreams of becoming a world-class conductor like his idol, Viera; but his fear of flying (which makes studying abroad impossible) combined with a recent break-up and dismissal from his piano instructor causes that future to seem both bleak and unlikely. After collapsing outside of his apartment, drunk, Chiaki inadvertently meets a young woman named Nodame who, while quite talented at the piano, is unclean, clumsy, and haphazard. Despite being almost polar opposites, the two begin to grow closer and work, together, to overcome the obstacles in their careers.

both anime is about a gifted heroine and meeting and helping interesting people as she goes along with life.

Aro

Although they don't seem to have much in common, both are about lovable, klutzy girls with a lot of hidden talent the story of how they realize their abilities and follow their dreams.

The story lines are similar despite the two fields of the culinary and musical arts being very different. Both of the main characters  meet people who help them realize their dreams and teach them how to get ahead in that field. They both even wind up in Paris => Another interesting similarity is the level of detail both anime go into with regards to their respective field. After watching Yummeiro Patissiere you start seeing chocolate in a whole new light, and after watching Nodame Cantabile, music suddenly seems much more interesting as well.

If you liked one, you're sure to enjoy the other.

Wallflower and Yumeiro Patissiere are similiar in numerous ways. The female leads in both animes are surrounded by good-looking men who help them achieve their goal. They also *obviously* fall for one of the males. Although Yumeiro is about cooking, and Wallflower is about beauty, they are both enjoyable and besides the fact that both are reverse harem, Wallflower is a bit more focused on romance then Yumeiro at the moment. You should definitely try Wallflower if you like Yumeiro and vice-versa.

wolfangel87

Yumeiro Patissiere and Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge each have strong female leads that are not that strong or confident in themselves but inadvertently get surrounded by gorgous looking bishounen guys who want to help them out.  While Yumeiro Patissiere is about cooking and Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge is about beauty, they both have the reverse harem aspect and similar feeling.
