I think both animes have a lot in common, both have an almost preapocalipticcal story, both deal with desperate scenes, and i think i've even seen a part really resembling yusuke at Inuyasha while watching the movie. Any way, if you liked one, you'll probably like the other one, since both deal with supernatural powers, and have really arogant protagonists.

Kaibutsu Oujo

Kaibutsu Oujo

Hiro Hiyorimi is a boy who moved to the city to live with his sister; but as he was walking around town one day, he sacrificed himself to protect a girl from being hit by falling beams, and subsequently lost his life. Yet even though Hiro now has a partially immortal life, his flames of life must be recharged daily or he will die yet again. Hime’s life is targeted by her siblings because the throne of the royalty is at stake, so Hiro must step up as a faithful servant to protect her life at all cost!

a high school boy loses his life while trying to save someone else, and is post-mortemly thrown into a world where magic and monsters are a reality.

the feel of the two series are different, but given the common conditions surrounding the male protagonists, they share some similarities - both are worth a watch!

If you like Yu Yu Hakusho or Kyo Kara Maoh! you would probablly like the other because both are about teenage boys who find out they are supposed to be demon kings. Both titles keep you on your toes wanting to see more, as well as both being quite adventurous. Kyo Kara Maoh! does not have as many fight scenes as Yu Yu Hakusho but if you like one your sure to like the other.

In both Yu Yu Hakusho and Project Arms the main characters are a group of 4 youngsters with special abilities. They fight the evil, and are often told they can't win. They start out weak and grow stronger. Both series also have a lot of sarcasm.

Both series serve of the good-ol demon and ghost world. Both are long running animes with enjoyable arcs and resonable animations. But what personally connected the series most for me is the resemblance between Ryu and Kuwabara, both Yakuza style, both big mounth and a little heart, both funny as hell. Really...where DO they come up with this stuff?
