In the world of Duel Monsters, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon brings victory, but the Red-Eyes Black Dragon brings possibility. Shyoga has never been good at Duel Monsters, always losing every game he’s played - that is, until the day he pulls the legendary Red-Eyes Black Dragon out of a booster pack. With such a rare card under his belt, Shyoga is convinced that he would be undefeatable and refuses to battle a single opponent. But when Kaiba Seto is drawn to Shyoga and his card, Shyoga finds himself forced into a tournament with Mutou Yugi at his side. Now, Shyoga must find the courage to fight, but what possibility can a single Red-Eyes bring when staring down three Blue-Eyes? Will Shyoga lose his precious card due to his cowardice, or will Kaiba reclaim his position as the number one duelist?
An unnatural rain has caused the river Styx to break its banks andflood the whole of the spirit world, causing Botan to flee on a journey that almost costs her her life. After bringing Botan to Genkai’s shrine (and retrieving an artifact she brought for him under the orders of Lord Koenma), Yusuke discovers that a nefarious plan has been hatched by Yakumo, ruler of the Netherworld! His goal is to destroy spiritual energy points so that he may rebuild the human world to his desires, and now, it’s up to Yusuke and the other spirit detectives to save both the spirit and human worlds alike!
Both of these movies are for shounen, and have certain similarities. Both the movies are entertaining, never get boring, with a huge battle in the end. Similar themes include friendship(mostly among guys), and teamwork. They're both also fairly cheezy, but not too much.
