Fans of one will like the other for sure. Both are old martial arts anime with a young boy as the main character. Both are helped along their journey by an old pervy teacher and a tons of friends gained along the way.
well, the main character in both is a kid who doesn't know anything about mordern day, but has great fighting potential, they meet a normal, modern girl, and begins thier adventure to collect the 7(in DB)/9(in yaiba) dragon balls and defeat the evil daimao. im sure the mangaka had inspiration from each other. both has quite alot of similar styled humor and realy good action.
