Both shows are centered on a reserved protagonist who tends to enjoy his loner life and not partake into any social activities in his surroundings. In both cases, there are other people that soon start to make them come out of their shells and socialize more. With some really witty narration, both leads steal the show. Yahari and Hyouka may be different in their approach to the daily life, but if you enjoyed one, there’s a good chance that you might find something to enjoy in the other one.

Oreki (Hyouka) and Hachiman (Yahari) are two of the same vein. While Hypuka tends towards more drama and mystery, the main reason both shows are entertaining would be the MC and his interaction with a strong female character in Hyouka it's with Eru and in Yahari it is Yukino.

Both involve a male protagonist who thinks socializing is bothersome. When introduced to a girl they very slowly begin to show affection (even though it's still bothersome). Both anime also involve certain problems and/or mysteries that are solved by the male lead. Even though Hyouka also focuses a bit on romance, it's main focus are the mysteries they try to solve, while Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru focuses more on the clashes the male protagonist has with others because of his behaviour. I can really recommend both of them!

Both anime feature depressed loner protagonists learning not to be such Byronic butts. If you liked one, you'll probably like the other. Hyouka is mystery-based, while My Teen Romantic Comedy Snafu is a bit more slice-of-life.

Both do a good job examining how far people go to maintain the facade of normalcy they themselves wish wasn't between them. If you've felt the distance between yourself and those around you too sharply, or let your ideals get in the way of living a happy life, you're the intended audience for these shows.

It's so similar yet so different. If you like slice of life, then these two are great. They have so different things to offer. Hyouka might be one step ahead story wise, but it didn't matter to me. I was looking for an anime like hyoka and i found snafu. I loved both of them. They are amazing.

The story in both animes are pretty the same and the main theme is in both School Life, but my recommendation will more be based on the three main characters of Classroom of the Elite and OreGairu who may have different goals but are clearly the same :

•Ayanokōji  Kiyotaka <> Hikigaya Hachiman :  Don't have any friends, both of these characters observe other people having fun with there friends while they stay alone while analyzing people's personnality. They are both pretty emotionless and are the first ones to have a good relation with the first female protagonist (Horikita and Yukinoshita).

-> They are lonely, analytical, high school students and get along with Horikita / Yukinoshita (which is unusual)

•Horikita Suzune <> Yukinoshita Yukino :  Same as the main protagonist, they both don't have any friends, difference is that they like to be lonely and think it's useless to have friends. They both have one older sibling (brother <> sister) and they follow their path, they want to be as great as them, they represent their ideal. They are also physically similar ; black hair, hair ribbons and natural/emotionless face.

-> They are lonely, not interessed in making friends, idolize their sibling, are physically similar (especially their hair) and obviously are high school students

•Kushida Kikyō <> Yuigahama Yui :  They are both pretty sociable, have a bunch of friends (especially Kushida) and they try to be friends with the other two main characters. Them and the other female main character are the only one who often talk to the male protagonist and could be considered as their friends.

-> They are sociable, friendly and get along with their whole class including the two other emotionless-lonely main characters.

While the male progtagonists greatly differ there is some overlap in the girls they hang out with. The story in Haganai is more romantically harem orientated while Yahari leans more toward comedy. Haganai's male lead is a social outcast because of his hair colour while Yahari's distanced himself after getting a bad start and developted a scewed point of view on the world.

Both Yahari and Boku wa Tomodachi (Haganai) follow to socially backwards (or social reject might work better) male leads, Haganai's lead is assumed to be a dellinquent due to his natural blonde coloured hair meaning people avoid him whilst Yahari's lead has a bad view on people and holds no interest in interacting with them. Yahari's lead is built with a well written and strong character making it some good fun to watch and offers lots of laughs but also maybe even some understanding for viewers who might who had social troubles in school, whilst Haganai is built a little more on romantic interaction between the male lead and who fellow club (of all females). Esentially both are romantic comedy though Yahari puts more effort into comedy whilst Haganai is a little more for choosing which girl you want to win. Yahari is structured and written very well meaning you will need to pay a bit of attention to enjoy it to the fullest whilst offering a level of underatanding whilst Haganai is a little more focused on the cute girls and simple comedy which combine for both shows real well.

In Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. you have a club that helps school students for a variety of problems, mainly focused on social arrangements and conflicts between the students themselves. The main characteristic in Yahari Ore no Seishu...; is the psychological aspect of each character that is well exploited.

On the other hand, in Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai there's a club where the objective is to "make friends" and so they do a variety of activities aiming it.  As you can imagine the comedy is mostly based on the characters' embarassement.

Many odd but entertaining girls, bad choices on the part of the MC, and a “semi-realism” in the “Slice-of-Life” School-Day Drama style lead to a ridiculous exaggeration of the feeling of need for social and denied romantic interaction gone wrong for the MC, though he doesn't seem surprised!

Sakuta Azusagawa will remind you of Hachinan Hikigaya, they both have this dark-ish and dismissal for keeping appearences. 

and 

Mai Sakurajima will remind you of Yukino Yukinoshita, they both have this cold personality but will show some really cute expressions or gestures when cornered.

Sakuta is always the guy that ends up having to help or fix things just like Hachiman does. Of course they each deal with their unique problems and events in their own way.

If you like the overall aura and feel of the story and characters these series are a good way to relive that experience with a whole new show and characters.

Both these anime have two huge simmilarities that stick out to me.  One is their main character.  Sakuta and Hachiman both come off as huge cynical pessimists.  Neither think highly of their fellow studenty body and rather not "join the flow" that is an average social quo. 

While they each grow and learn, it leads to the second bigest similarity to me, the animes message on relationships and relying on others.   While Sakuta starts the series off with a very proud 2 friends while Hachiman is all alone, they learn to open up, accept help, and start to enjoy having others to socialize with along with all the drama said relationships can bring. 

If you enjoyed these traits in one of these anime, I'm sure you could enjoy the other.

In both shows MC is a laid back loner that’s not particularly interested in his surrounding and is not a big fan of socializing. Either way, both show feature some club life that soon starts to turn their views upside down. Similar with the cast structure, and with some solid comedy that MCs provide, I’d say that enjoying one may easily lead you to liking the other one.

Both Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. and Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu feature a cynical male lead and the first also features a cynical female lead. I could try to name other similarities, but there is no point since what I've already stated is the essence of this recommendation.

Both shows feature a main protagonist who's a bit of a social outcast, and one that many viewers can easily relate to in one way or another due to the situations each find themselves in, and how each deals with said situations. 

The differences are that Watamote focuses almost exclusively on the comedy, and while Yahari certainly has plenty of humour, it places most of it's emphasis on the drama side of things. Overall it's also a more uplifting show than Watamote is, not that that's saying much.

Both anime feature a protagonist that has a problem with social interaction. The characters are quite different while Hachiman is analytical to a fault, Tomoko allows her imagination to dream up the worst possible case scenario and usually winds up there. Both protagonists both have very little desire to change, Hachiman admits this openly while Tomoko strives to be more social in theory but in reality is simply happiest remaining a shut in otaku. If you like one it is likely you will enjoy the other but Watamote is more realistic, nobody will come to save poor Tomoko which leads to very cringing comedy while Hachiman enjoys a much more refined sense of comedy surrounded by characters who are drawn towards him

Even more than the romance, slice of life, school setting, these two shows have a lot of parallels. Hachiman and Ryuuji are both kind of feared for their uninviting looks, although Hachiman takes this to the extreme, but both are genuinely nice and caring individuals.Taiga and Yukino are both well-to-do, intelligent, popular and athletic, but with equally ininviting personalities and no more than two close friends to rely on. Although I wouldn't consider Yukino tsundere, they both are poor at expressing their feelings, but capable of solving everyone else's problems but their own.The vibe in the romance, comedy and school-life action are similar with less martial arts violence in SNAFU. The pacing and tone and what seems to be multiple love interests will appeal to anyone who enjoyed Toradora! and vice  versa.

Both animes have a main female character who shows mostly hate towards the main male character, as well as another female main character who is normally very cheerful.

The connections that the characters build over time is very exciting to watch, and the drama actually helps to build the plot. Both of these animes are incredibly good and whoever liked one should definitely watch the other.

Both OreImo and Yahari are comedies featuring a number of female characters centering around a single male. While OreImo's male lead could be considered a little bland, Yahari's certainly is not, he's a pretty unique character all things considered, and is one of the main things that sets the two shows apart. The others being Yahari's altogether more impressive secondary character pool, and it's better comedy.

The biggest similarity in these shows is in the characters. In both cases, our MC is surrounded with all types of eccentric females, and both shows are spinning around their unusual relationships. While they have quite different personalities, their actions/reactions minding everything are very similar. With a quite different approach to the daily life, both shows have quite a number of similarities that might make you one of them if you enjoyed the other.

While Yahari is certainly more realistic and down to earth with a darker edge both series are on the opposite end of the same spectrum and both have a fanbase that most likely will consist out of the same people.

Honestly, I love both of these anime at the moment. I'm sitting here watching Kaguya-Sama and I just can't stop comparing it to MTRC-SNAFU because they're both so good. Kaguya-Sama and MTRC-SNAFU both take a Tsundere v.s Tsundere plot and turn it into something unique and enjoyable. MRTC-SNAFU takes a more realistic, and worldly view of romance and adds its own twist, while Kaguya-Sama is more fictional with its romantic "boxing" matches. I love both of these anime and would recomend this both ways. (^-^)

Both anime focus heavily on character interaction, Kagua-Sama is more light-hearted and more cute-sy whereas Oregairu is also cutesy at times but more serious overall.

I seriously love both and if you like either one of these (and haven't watched the other), you'll find yourself loving them both!
