If you liked the Working!! anime, the Anime-Planet community thinks you'd like:
Tachibana has recently quit his job at a high-class firm, and for unknown reasons, decides to open a bakery. His first employee is Ono, an extremely talented patissier who is also known as the 'Gay of demonic charm' - something that has caused him to lose his job countless times. Joining the crew also is Eiji - a retired champion boxer - who is hired on the spot as only a trainee purely because he is not Ono's 'type.' However, Chikage, the bumbling childhood friend and shadow of Tachibana, is exactly his type! Now, with the shop finally open, everyone seems to be filling their positions well; but one question remains: what were Tachibana's motives for opening the bakery, and does it have a link to his troubled and forgotten past?
Aside the shonen ai hints in Antique Bakery, both series are forcused in a familiar-like café store where the staff is, at the same time, comedic and life-like build. Laughs secured.
If you enjoy Antique Bakery, you will like the comedy on Working!! And, if you liked Working!! and you don't mind the male-male jokes, you will love Antique Bakery.
When Demon King Satan was facing his demise at the hands of Hero Emilia, he had no choice but to quickly flee to another world with his Demon General, Alsiel. However, upon their arrival, the twosome is taken aback with the realization they have lost almost all of their magic - and moreover, were transformed into ordinary humans and are stranded in an otherworldly place called Japan! To survive, the Demon King must now work a part-time job at a fast-food joint and attempt to adapt to modern society the best the pair can as Japanese citizens, all while scheming to rule over the country in the process. But with Hero Emilia and others on Satan’s tail to slay him for good, will Japan ever become his new domain?
Comedy wise these shows are both very funny, and share a lot of common traits in their humour. The two of them both feature quirky characters with pretty extreme personalities that play off each other very well indeed. Although Working!! doesn't share Hataraku Maou-sama's fantasy/supernatural elements they both have a similar feel.
Aoki Daisuke is a fresh, new elementary school teacher, eager to help shape and guide his young students. But he got more than he bargained for with Kokonoe Rin! This saucy third grader has knowledge beyond her years, and a deep-seated mistrust and loathing of adults. She will go to any lengths to protect her friends Kuro and Mimi, including harassment, extortion, threats, and sexual blackmail. And yet, with her friends, she is kind, caring, and self-sacrificing. Can Daisuke gain Rin's trust and save her from her dark side without falling victim to it himself?
Though set in completely different environments, both Working! and Kodomo no Jikan are set in a workplace environment. They also share a similar style of comedy and torment for the male lead.
Having lived in the same orphanage as children, Takumi Tsuzuki and Fumino Serizawa grew up together and remain fast friends. Now living and working at a bakery, Takumi does his best to prevent catastrophe, particularly when the clumsy Otome is in the kitchen! He attends school with Fumino and is still the only person capable of reading through her baffling habit of hiding her emotions by saying exactly the opposite to what she means. However, the arrival on the scene of enigmatic catgirl Nozomi may force Fumino to be more honest with her feelings than she is used to - or perhaps even able to. This, along with a host of crazy friends and associates such as the stuck-up Chise and the otaku Ieyasu, ensures that there is rarely a dull moment in their lives!
Greatly similar, what they have in common is the ability to make you laugh, a workplace setting with chefs, giving a "sudden appearance" female character a job and home at the place of working, a weird sister(s) to the male protagonist, a traveling boss who randomly comes and leaves the store/restaurant, and a petite high school girl who has a complex about her height. The amount of romance is more or less equal in Working!! and the harem Mayoi Neko Overrun!.
Satoshi Yabe is the newest employee at Kamohashi Elementary School. Wide-eyed and enthusiastic, he’s thrilled to finally be fulfilling his dream of being a teacher – but little did Satoshi know that he’d be assigned to class 6-3, a group that houses none other than the violent and perverted Marui triplets! Between the girls trying to hook him up with the busty school nurse, dealing with the unfortunate consequences of a hamster named 'Titties' and other misadventures, Satoshi’s dream of an uneventful school life has come to an end!
I know this suggestion is too weird but both share many things in common such as unique characterization, comic releif moments.... more over both these are somewhat episodic.... 'weirdos running all around the series' this is yet another common citation however that makes more fun to watch.... while 'working!!' is bit mature, non perverted comedy, 'mitsudomoe' is more non logic, perverted comedy.... however both will be so much fun to watch.... if you like one plz try other.... ^_^
