If you liked the Working!! anime, the Anime-Planet community thinks you'd like:
Tsuchida has just started working at the Hanamaru Kindergaten, and, as the first and only male teacher at the school, he’s particularly nervous. Unfortunately his first day doesn’t go quite as smoothly as planned as not only does Tsuchida turn up late, but then a small girl named Anzu claims that he hit on her in front of all the parents! Though he manages to initially clear up the misunderstanding, at the beginning of his second day, Anzu proclaims that she will be his bride and that her mother, Tsuchida’s senior in high school, is supporting them all the way! Now as Tsuchida attempts to become the best teacher he can be, he must also try and quell the rumors that he is dating Anzu, and maybe win the heart of the beautiful and kind, yet ultimately clueless, Yamamoto-sensei…
When I first started watching Working!!, the first thing I noticed was that Takanashi was obviously Tsuchida after wandering into the wrong anime. And while many other characters are also similar, the two male leads are the most noticable.
If you are looking for a comedic slice of life about workplaces, these two shows are for you. The main characters in both shows are similar in appearance and in that they get dragged into things easily. There is romance in both shows, so really there is something for everyone.
These two animes are so much alike, their style of anime looks exactly the same. Their plot is somewhat the same. Even their main character looks like they could be twins!
Although the situations and environments are different, both of these series share a similar style both of comedy and animation.
Hanamaru has much younger characters, but the range of personalities is also somewhat similar between the two shows. The two main characters from each show could easily be mistaken for each other, both in terms of personality and appearance.
If you enjoyed one, you should enjoy the other.
If you like one of these then you'll probably like the other because both series just have this happy feel to them that makes them relaxing to watch. The main point to each series is the comedy that they provide that will get a few laughs out of you no matter who you are. Each series also at times tend to get somewhat serious but they never last long before they each get back to the laughs. While Hanamaru Youchien has a male lead who becomes a kindergarten teacher and Working!! has a male lead who is a server they each display a certain lifestlye that a person can lead and some challenges that they may face.
With a slight draw of romantic style Hanamaru Youchien and Working!! Have a similar characteristic style. The two series focus on the lives of characters in the work environment and the troubles that go into their everyday lives. Needless to say if you see either of these series, the two main characters could be twins.
When Lucy was born, her parents couldn’t decide on a single first name so they decided to give her over a dozen of them! So to get revenge on the civil servant who approved the naming decision, Lucy, now an adult, has become one herself, eager to give him an earful. But the woman soon learns that being a civil servant is tough work! The citizens scold you, there’s little margin for error, and there’s challenges at every turn! Alongside other workers such as the flirtatious slacker Hasebe and shy newcomer Saya, Lucy will navigate her new career and experience both the frustrations, and also the joys, of helping the public.
Both of these shows are based off works by the same author, and this is something that is immediately obvious due the similarities between the two series. Each has a similar style of comedy, with plenty of slapstick and quick retorts, as well as similar types of characters. The main difference between the two is that Servant x Service is set in an adult working environment, whereas Working!! is largely populated by teenage characters. Fans of one will definitely enjoy the other, I have no doubt about that.
They both have a really simalar feel and style. In both shows, the characters all seem to have a few problems. If you enjoy one you will enjoy the other!
Servant x Service and Working!! are basically the same thing, the only difference is that SxS is set in an adult workplace whereas Working!! is set in a restaurant with young adults and teenagers populating the cast. The comedy, which is basically just friendly banter between the characters, is undeniably similar, and the characters in both are very lively, cute, and pretty eccentric. Fans of one will definitely want to give the other a try.
Very similar shows in their light hearted humour, constant love related issues, caricature characters although Servant x service is a slightly more mature version. They are so similar it's easy to see the same author behind them both. Don't miss either!
If you enjoyed one of these you will most certainly enjoy the other. They are both comedies that take place in the work place. I found both to be very humorous. So if you are looking for something to watched and you enjoyed one I strongly suggest you watch the other.
President of the Student Council at the almost-all-boys Seika High School, the hard-as-nails Misaki Ayuzawa works every day to make life easier on the small population of co-eds who have enrolled there. Though an unholy terror to all things male during school hours, in order to provide for her impoverished family, she secretly works after school at a maid cafe in Akihabara. However, when campus hottie Usui Takumi wanders into the restaurant during her shift, suddenly she finds her reputation in school at his mercy...
They are both animes where the main character is working at a part time job that they are troubled by but ultimately will learn life lessons from.
If you like the random type humor of one, the other has the same kind. They're not really the same... in fact I think the only way they're the same is that both main characters work in a type of restaurant, but in Working!! the whole setting is in the restaurant, where Kaichou was Maid-sama follows the life of Misaki and the troubles she deals with (and the ones Usui causes) Both are great, and I've not given any good reasons, but if you like one, definitely give the other a try.
These series both have similar humor and a similar amount of romance in them. If you enjoyed one, I believe you'll enjoy the other.
Kaichou wa Maid-sama! and Working!! both are very funny and both pass a part of the series in a coffee shop because is the main character's job.
Seeking a cure for his depraved masochism, Taro Sado approaches the Second Volunteer Club on the recommendation of his best friend, Tatsukichi. There he finds the help of the violent but kind Mio Isurugi who promises to beat the masochism out of him by any means necessary. Will Taro be able to survive the assaults of this upperclassman, the overly-affectionate attentions of his mother and sister, and still lead a normal school life? Unlikely. But will he get over his perverse fetish? He sure hopes so.
I'm surprised nobody compared these two shows. Both of them have multiple characters that suffer from some kind of complex. Mahiru and Yuuno have severe cases of androphobia despite the fact that they have feelings for the main character of the show. Good part of the comedy gags are centered around the complexes that these characters have.
Each of these series focus around a group of mainly highschool age kids. A lead female in each has a fear of men, while each male lead, voice by the same person, has some sort of fetish (although, a more perverted one in MM!). The series each have a similar type of humor, although MM!'s is more ecchi.
Their type of comedy is very similar. They also have similar characters like having a tough girl, small petite girl, a guy who likes cute things and a girl who's scared of men. So if you want to watch an anime with a fun mix of interesting characters and have a good laugh, you should watch MM! or Working!!
A comedy that featurs a female lead who is afraid of men probably describes the biggest similarity between the two. With a diverse group of cast some of who display a variety of different fetishes. Each series is almost certain to bring a smile to the face of anyone watching and come the end leave the person wanting more.
Ten-year-old genius Chiyo, animal-loving Sakaki, loudmouth Tomo, athletic Kagura, weight-conscious Yomi and dim-witted Osaka are six friends who share laughs, good times, and a high school homeroom. With scary (and sometimes perverted) teachers, school festivals, penguin suits and general hilarity abounding, you can be sure that there's never a dull day in the life of one of these students!
If you liked the comedy in Working!!, especially when people have trouble seeing something so obvious it makes you laugh, I'd say give Azumanga Daioh a try. Each series also has a large number of extremely unique characters that makes for good comedy.
Both series are very good at the slice-of-life comedy genre. Although Azumanga takes place at school and Working!! in a diner, they share a lot of simlarities, mostly in the way each show approaches the delivering of jokes and the personalities of the characters.
You can think of Azumanga as a predecessor to Working!!'s style. If you liked one, you might want to check out the other.
Both have rather similar feel to them. Can't really put my finger on it but they give the same vibe, it's like they take place in the same universe kind of thing :)
Neither has any real plot, but is rather random slice of life humour thing.
