Thinking nothing more of this, Teppei soon receives a surprise call from his grandfather, informing him that he is the heir to the Arima business empire and therefore one of the richest men on the planet! Teppei is introduced to his personal maid, Yuu, and various blue-bloods, among them his arranged fiancee, Sylvia - a fencer with a tongue as sharp as her blade. At school the next day, Teppei meets more new faces, including the snooty Seika Houjouin, and - much to his surprise - Princess Charlotte Hazelrink. Still awkward and uncouth, Teppei must somehow adjust to high society. With girls pursuing him at every turn, however, that may be the least of his concerns...

While these shows differ a lot in plot, they are both essentially ecchi harem shows filled with fanservice where a dull male lead is courted by a bunch of female characters for his standing in his respective field. They both happen to be based on VN's made by the same company, so they have a very similar tone and feel to them, as well as the character designs having a similar look to them.

If you did enjoy one of these then the other is probably the type of thing that would interest you somewhat.

It's easy to mistake Princess Lover for Walkure Romanze, one I made many times, and it's not just for the fanservice or deliciously ecchi scenes, or the fact that they're both based off of H-games. Not only for the males who don't come from real aristocratic backgrounds and are thrown into the den of babes who want their nuts or want their nuts while they work together on something or other. The harem aspects and pointless fanservice segments (Episode for Walkure Romanze at least) and the overall feel for either one, let alone some of the character designs, really give them both when compared to each other a samey feel.

Regardless, they're quite a match. One is princess wrangling and the other one is ecchi jousting with gratuitous fanservice. Can you ask for anything more out of your ecchi shows?

Infinite Stratos

Infinite Stratos

The development of the Infinite Stratos powered exoskeleton changed the world’s balance of power. While the distribution of IS systems has created peace, only women have been able to pilot them. So when Ichika Orimura is discovered to be the first male with the ability to control an IS, whatever plans he had for his future are tossed out the window even as he’s thrown to the wolves and enrolled at the otherwise entirely female Infinite Stratos Academy by order of the Japanese government!

While the setting differs greatly, these are both ecchi harems set in a school environment, and that feature your typical dull male protagonist as he gets surrounded by beautiful suitors for no apparent reason.

These shows love to throw the fanservice at the viewer at any chance they get, with revealing outfits, plenty of forced "accidental perversion" scenes are in each, often at the most irritating of times. So a fan of ecchi and harems will likely enjoy each of these shows.

Strawberry Panic

Strawberry Panic

On Astraea Hill stand 3 prestigious female-only academies known as St. Miatre, Spica, and LeRim; and though the schools are separate, they share a single campus and dormitory. Nagisa Aoi is a 10th grader who has decided to transfer to St. Miatre's Girls' Academy. Though her transition has been smooth so far, while exploring the campus Aoi inadvertently falls down a hill, sees the beautiful Shimuza, and promptly (not to mention embarrassingly) faints. Nagisa continues to see Shimuza out and about, but soon discovers that she is the "Etoile" -- a well respected girl within all of the schools. With Shizuma taking a liking to the new transfer student Nagisa, secrets of Shizuma's past will unravel over the coming school year.

Strawberry Panic! is about girl-on-girl and Walkure Romanze is girl-on-guy, but both include horse riding (to an extent in Strawbery Panic!), an academy for the wealthy, and let's not forget that a super popular high-class lady is the endearment of the entire student body. There are enough ecchi moments for you to enjoy the other even if you aren't a particular fan of girl love - because let's face it, if you watched Walkure Romanze, it was for the fanservice and the numerous girls.

Strike Witches

Miyafuji Yoshika is a girl with exceptional healing power but lacks control; she has been scouted to join the Strike Witches and fight the Neuroi, but all she wants to do is take over her family clinic. After witnessing an attack by the Neuroi on her way to find out if her father is still alive, Miyafuji resolves herself to fight for and protect the people around her. Who or what are the Neuroi and what do they want?

The themes of these shows really aren't similar at all, however both of these shows are cases where a neat concept/story doesn't reach its full potential because it's drowning in its own fanservice.

However if you can look past that fan-service , both shows end up actually being fairly entertaining as they progress and you may start getting pulled into the story. Or better yet if you dig fan-servicey shows you'll also be in for a somewhat decent plot/action as a bonus!

I Liked Strike Witches better personally as it focused on its action a bit more.

So if you liked one of these cause it was fanservice with a little something more or you can look past fan-service for solid action, the other may be worth giving a try.
