Cross Academy is a school with a difference: in a unique and experimental setup designed by the headmaster, it has a Day Class consisting of ordinary humans and a Night Class filled with vampires. Yuki Cross and her friend Zero Kiryu are school prefects whose job it is to make sure the secret of the Night Class is always safe; they patrol the school grounds at night and supervise the switchover of classes at dawn and dusk to prevent any 'accidents' from happening. While Zero is suspicious of vampires and hates the idea of sharing the same space as them, Yuki admires the Night Class for their beauty and sophistication; she is especially intrigued by their charming leader, Kaname, because he once saved her life. However, as Yuki quickly learns, not all vampires are amiable like the Night Class, and as terrible events unfold, Yuki must ask herself whether in a world where vampires are the hunters and humans are the prey, peaceful coexistence can really be achieved.
The power to cross over dimensions is one that is deeply coveted -- a lesson that childhood friends Sakura and Syaoran learn the hard way when an unknown enemy attacks an archaeological dig in their country. As a result, Sakura's memories are scattered to different dimensions, causing her to fall into a deep sleep. In order to save Sakura's life, she and Syaoran must journey to various worlds in search of her memories, with the help of fellow travelers, Fai and Kurogane. But finding Sakura's memories won't be easy, and the price for traveling through time and space is high...
Although this might seem to be a strange pairing, the two animes have similar themes. Both of the lead girl characters (Yuki and Sakura) have lost their memories. Memory and love are prominent themes in both animes. Both animes have terrific musical soundtracks. Finally, both can be considered romantic dramas with riveting plots that will keep you watching until the end of the series.
Two wonderful animes that both though very different, have a smiliar storyline. Both main girl characters have lost their memory, though Sakura has lost practically everything when Yuuki only lost her memory as a child. They are great animes that have romance, fighting, and all that other good stuff. ;)
Michiru has an unusual ability: she can see a dark ring around a person's neck that signifies their time to die. However, she suppressed her powers once she "saw" the deaths of her parents – until now. After accidentally seeing rings around the necks of two boys in her school, it seems that Michiru's powers are back for good. The two are zombies who are working for the secret loan office known as Zombie-Loan, and they need Michiru's help to find other zombies – those with dark black rings around their necks. Though Michiru initially refuses, due to a series of events it seems she has no choice but to comply...
Both animes are about a silly and god-for-nothing girl who crossed her lifepath with two men who are not normal humans. They fight with the demons and other things like that. For the girl is hard to concentrate on choosing with which she want to spend her life, etc. If you like series about one girl, two men and demons you will like what I recommend.
Both have a similar feel to them. Trying to focus on combat but getting side tracked by personal emotons (Vampire Knight more so than Zombie-Loan). They blend the elements well enough. Zombie-Loan doesn't have as clear cut of a protagonist as Vampire Knight and thus the story tells itself in a slightly different manner.
these two shows are similair mostly in the mood of the shows. both have dark ending songs and opening songs plus complex story lines with kind of a dark backdrop and an undertone of romance (more evident in vampire knight).
Setsuno Muda is a high school boy with a cruel fate, trapped in a forbidden love for his blood sister and inhabited by the spirit of the Organic Angel Alexiel. As the final battle between Heaven and Hell approaches, and forces gather against him, he must soon make decisions that will inevitably alter his future for better or worse. But for poor young Setsuno, his anguish and torment might be more overwhelming than the blood on his hands, as conflicts are settled and lives are changed forever...
A romance with mystery, supernatural and dark atmosphere. However the manga of Angel Sanctuary is more like this description. The anime is just too short to show the real soul of Angel Sanctuary which has a familiar atmosphere to Vampire Knight.
Mochizuki Jirou, the Silver Blade, is an Old Blood. Ten years ago he fought the Kowloon Children, beings who were a threat to mankind and to vampires, in the Holy War. In the present, Jirou is trying to get to the Special Zone, a place where vampires and humans live alongside each other, with his brother; their guide is Mimiko Katsuragi, mediator for humans and vampires. But the brothers soon discover that the surviving Kowloon Children can also gain access to the Special Zone – if they receive an invite from a Royal within it. Who invited the Kowloon Children, and will Jirou be able to defeat them once more?
Black Blood Brothers, just like Vampire Knight, is about vampires (new ones or pure-blood ones) whose existance is known to a part of the population. I believe you'll like B.B.B. cause the main character is a powerful, respected handsome pure blood vampire, who meets a cute strong-willed brunette and together they go through a lot. Although the romanve thing is not as much in Black Blood Brothers as it is in V.K. I believe that you will like the first!
