Synopsis:

In the distant past, a ferocious monster plagued the land. Fast forward to the present, when young Ushio Aotsuki unwittingly releases the beast and names him Tora, much to the monster's dismay. Now, with plenty of stray demons wandering the city, Ushio must defeat the evil with the ancient spear, before being eaten by Tora as a snack!

Both of these shows are full of comedy and monsters. They are funny and exciting and hard to dislike. Haunted Junction is much more comedic while Ushio and Tora is much more action oriented, but both have lots of monsters.

While Ushio & Tora and Haunted Junction might not have a plot in common, they both have a remarkably similar feeling to them. Slapstick, random comedy combined with a supernatural type story and hilarious characters, make either of these a great watch. Why would you like one if you liked the other? Too many things to mention. Just check it out!

When you think of comedy and action the first show that comes to many people's minds is Slayers. Somewhat less well known is Ushio and Tora. While Ushio and Tora is much less comedic than Slayers the two shows are likely to appeal to the same audience.

Though Ushio and Tora and Hell Teacher Nube aren't about the same thing, they share a similar tone and feel that you'll definitely recognize. If you like a dose of random comedy with plenty of demon influences, check these out!
