Throughout the ages, fairy doctors served as liaisons between humans and fairies; but in the present time of the 19th century, fairies are nothing more than an old wives' tale. Nineteen-year-old Lydia Carlton is one of the only remaining fairy doctors and enjoys a quiet life in the countryside of England - that is, until the dashing Edgar, for mysterious reasons, whisks her away on a daring adventure. Said to be the descendent of the earl of the fairy nation, Edgar desires the noble sword of the merrow that serves as proof to his lineage. Though his motives and origins are questionable, Lydia now sets forth to help Edgar on his quest.
If you occasionally like to indulge in girly fluffiness, Earl and Fairy and Tsubasa will both satisfy those needs. Packed full of dashing bishounen rushing to aid the beautiful heroine, there is love and romance, action and chivalry - enough to make any fangirls knees tremble.
If you like fantasy and magic, both of these shows are highly enjoyable examples that you should watch.
In a high school setting, there are many people whose stories must be told: Hiro, an aspiring manga artist whose view of the world is "missing a certain color," according to himself; his childhood friend Kei, who is vying for his attention; Kyosuke, a photographer and cameraman who seeks to capture true emotion in his work; the ever-cheerful Miyako, who meets Hiro by chance and immediately becomes attached to him; the gentle Renji, unsure of his aspirations to become a novelist; and Kei's mysterious and quiet sister Chihiro, who seems to be a different person every day. As time passes and they interact with one another more, their paths increasingly intertwine as shades of regrettable pasts emerge.
Well this is a good one way rec cause Tsubasa Chronicle shares the very strong emotional reaction to character development stories. Furthermore the lead male character is stuck at a struggle of loving the female lead who has lost her memories... now the ideal of Ef is a little different because the lead female loses her memeories daily whereas the Sakura in Tsubasa Chronicle loses her memory after an event in the story and can remember certain thing s from her past, but they are both emotianal series that would be similar.
