Yamishibai and Hikiko deal with urban legends and are horror - neither are very good in my opinion, and the animation is fairly bizarre in both too. Regardless of my personal ratings, though, I do think fans of one would likely appreciate the other.

Both deal with urban horror stories and have an unusual art style. I wouldn't say either are a particularly good example of the genre, but fans of one should check the other out.

If you like creepy horror, but nothing too scary, I'd recommend both of these titles. Neither is very good, and the animation is odd, but they both tell creepy urban legends stories.

Both anime deal with identity and who we really are. Are we who we say we are from a different person's point of view?
