Synopsis:

Ryuuji Takasu has an eventful life: his classmates think he's a delinquent due to his 'killer' eyes; his crush Minori seems ever out of reach; and he’s just had an unfortunate encounter with 'palm-sized Taiga' – a feisty and dainty wench in his class. With different cleaning habits and tempers, the two clash like night and day; that is, except for the fact that Taiga and Ryuuji have crushes on the other's good friend! With school rumors abounding, the duo must now work together to play matchmaker for each other. Who will end up with their true love?

Hitohira

Hitohira

Asai Mugi's everyday life is very much impacted by a singular problem: she suffers from extreme shyness. Her sole friend Touyama Kayo would like to help her out as they've just entered high school, but Mugi's shyness is the sort that steals her voice entirely. It is too bad for Mugi that a freak shout on her part attracted the attention of Nono Ichinose. Nono is on a mission to save her Drama Research Society, and she isn't prepared to accept shyness as excuse from on-stage performances! With a small group of close friends to encourage and educate her, Mugi will be given a chance to be more than she is now. But, can someone so terribly shy really become a stage actress in just a few short months?

Toradora! and Hitohira are high school dramas that also include some romance and comedy. Both are about characters that don't really have a place at school growing more confident, making friends, and finding their niche. Each starts off fairly comedic, but gradually builds in drama over time (I found the endings of each to be rather too melodramatic for my tastes, but that's not to say they were bad endings).

While neither bring anything new to the genre, and are both fairly predictable, they are still very solidly well-done titles.

Now, lest the explosive collar around his neck detonate, Keima must convince various girls to fall in love with him in order to scare out the souls hiding in their hearts.

Kare Kano is similar to Toradora in many ways. Both series feature a girl and guy who have people see them a certain way, both take place in High School, and both have romance and comedy. Some aspects of the storylines are different but over all very similar

If one can set aside the superficial differences between Toradora! and Kimikiss, one may just find that the two have more in common than one may think.

Toradora has a small cast and examines the relations presented thoroughly. Kimikiss has a larger cast, but also deals with more personalities. Both present a situation of reciprocated longing with denial separating two friends.

Toradora! and Kimi Ni Todoke are both very tense anime's when it comes to the romantic factor. You really want to know if they end up with eachother. Check this anime out.
