Synopsis:

Ryuuji Takasu has an eventful life: his classmates think he's a delinquent due to his 'killer' eyes; his crush Minori seems ever out of reach; and he’s just had an unfortunate encounter with 'palm-sized Taiga' – a feisty and dainty wench in his class. With different cleaning habits and tempers, the two clash like night and day; that is, except for the fact that Taiga and Ryuuji have crushes on the other's good friend! With school rumors abounding, the duo must now work together to play matchmaker for each other. Who will end up with their true love?

B Gata H Kei - Yamada's First Time

Fifteen-year-old Yamada has just entered high school and is gung ho about achieving her ultimate goal: to have one hundred sex partners! There’s just one problem: she’s a virgin, and she hasn’t even had a boyfriend! To get the ball rolling, Yamada decides to target a shy boy named Takashi from her school; but even though he is also a virgin and she ruthlessly aggressive with her feminine ways, it’s not as easy as Yamada hopes. Though they begin to have feelings for each other, will Yamada and Takashi ever get past first base?

B Gata is raunchier, but both shows are funny romances. They deal with high schoolers trying to decide who they like, having several prospects. Each show also has a strong female tsundere, overpowering the male.

Binbou Shimai Monogatari

Binbou Shimai Monogatari

Asu and Kyo are two orphaned sisters; their mother passed away some time ago, while their father abandoned them due to gambling issues. Asu and Kyo now live in a rundown apartment complex. Asu, the younger sister, is responsible for all of the housework while Kyo is in charge of living expenses; and together, the two sisters work hard to live a comfortable and enjoyable life. Looking to one another for support, Asu and Kyo experience the hardships of daily living, but are still able to welcome each day with a smile.

The two share a lot in common, in the aspect of everyday people dealing with everyday problems in the best way they can. Ryuji has a lot in common with the sisters Kyo and Asu, though both dealt with their situation in different ways I think that both shows present a positive message on how to deal with untoward circumstances. As a further warning, you will probably not like Binbou Shimai if you simply enjoyed Toradora due to the comedy (and vice versa).

Bokura ga Ita

Bokura ga Ita

Yano Motoharu is the most popular guy in class, the school’s basketball ace, and highly charismatic to boot! No wonder Nanami Takahashi can’t resist falling in love with him. When Yano returns Nana’s feelings, things seem too good to be true and the two begin a relationship; but Yano has a contradictory personality which confuses Nana most of the time. On top of that, tragic events in Yano’s past won’t stop haunting their relationship. Unable to halt their passionate feelings, are Yano and Nana heading for disaster or can they save each other from irreparable hurt?

As for me, Toradora! and Bokura ga Ita have a great story. They will both make you fall in-love. They both have a close friend that will make way (even though it hurts them) to make the main couple strong.Just watch these anime and you'll remember how you fell in-love.

Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai!

Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai!

Rikka Takanashi is a teenage girl who possesses the strongest ocular power known to man: the Tyrant’s Eye. She's currently locked in a fierce war with a shadowy organization, and the fate of the world may hang in the balance with each passing battle... or at least this is what she believes. In actuality, Rikka is merely a normal high school girl afflicted with chuunibyou syndrome, a "disease" that makes one prone to delusional flights of fancy. Meanwhile former chuunibyou sufferer Yuuta Togashi is enrolled at the same school, looking to put his embarrassing junior high exploits behind him. However, when Rikka discovers his past life as the "Dark Flame Master", she uses this to her advantage to include him in all of her wacky schemes! With Rikka’s zany behavior dragging him further and further from normalcy, Yuuta must try to pull her back into the real world – or risk getting sucked into hers!

Both animes involve a boy and a girl living close to each other, going to the same school, are part of a group of friends and a lot of comedy. They also develop feelings between the main characters the same way. If you liked one for that last reason, you will definitely enjoy the other too.

Durarara!!

Durarara!!

Looking for a change, Mikado moves from the countryside to bustling Ikebukuro to attend the same high school as his best friend, Masaomi. Though navigating a new school and friendships can prove tough by itself, Mikado also finds an overwhelming number of new delights and dangers in the district he now calls home. From a friendly Russian sushi bar to the violent color gangs, to even an urban legend in the form of a black motorcycle rider, each resident of Ikebukuro is unique and frightening. But the town is smaller than it seems at first, and these strange events appear to be connected. Will the growing storm sweep up the transplanted country boy and his friends or will Mikado find himself at the center of a dramatic change for Tokyo?

Although seemingly distant and unconnected at a first glance, the two of these shows eventually grow into tales of growing up, interacting with and respecting adults, and finding your individual place in society. Both shows also contain very strong plots that provide relief from the run-of-the-mill high school romantic comedy.
