Even though both are set in a different time (one being in highschool and the other in grade school) both have many similar aspects. Like, how both the male lead character have to deal with the mischievous female lead character. Also, how both female lead character initially loved the male lead character, but decided to slowly progress at the end. So if you like watching one of them you should try watching the other

Lotte no Omocha!

Lotte no Omocha!

Lotte, the princess of Ygvarland, hates men - a fact that ordinarily wouldn't be a problem given she's just a child. There's just one issue: the girl is a succubus that must suck the life seed from the male species or die! Now approaching adulthood, Lotte must learn to tolerate the opposite sex, but her royal highness won't have any of it. That is, until Judith, the girl's lady-in-waiting, brings Lotte a human boy to the demon world. This unfortunate young man, Naoya, must now open the princess's heart to his gender, but as caring and considerate as he may be, he'll certainly have his work cut out for him!

Lotte no Omocha and To love Ru have two things in common, harem and the "devil's tail they have. Lotte no Omocha is about 10 year old princess that suprisingly having a harem at her age is okay. To love Ru is a little more mature but the harem is involved with her.

The difference is Lotte no Omocha has a reverse harem.

To love Ru has the vintage harem.

In both animes, there is a boy who lives a normal life who suddenly meets a girl who litteraly fells from sky. She gets to love him, while he doesn't really like her as a lover, there is another girl who is in love for him already.

They and their friends have random funny adventures together, where the girls who love this guy try to be with him thinking "I can't lose".

Seto no Hanayome

Seto no Hanayome

While visiting his hometown, junior high school student Michishio Nagasumi's life was changed forever when he nearly drowned. Though he was saved by a mermaid named San, there’s a catch -- her family is part of a merfolk mafia, and they abide by a strict rule: If a mermaid is discovered by a man, either he or the mermaid must die. That is, unless the man marries into the family! Faced with such a decision, Nagasumi can only oblige their customs and become a "happy" newlywed. Now, with a new school year around the corner, Nagasumi must find a way to deal with his new bride, keep her true nature a secret, and most importantly, escape inevitable death at the hands of San's over-protective father’s gang!

Both Seto no Hanayome and To Love-Ru have the same plot: a boy is tricked into marrying an 'otherwordly' creature. Although To Love-Ru has much more ecchi, the comedy is similiar as well.

Shuffle! and To Love-Ru are similar in characters having a special status, If you like or even loved To Love-Ru you are going to like shuffle, but shuffle does have a little bit slower startup in the plot line but overall you are going to love it.
