I think The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior is great in a lot of ways, but not so great in some others. The story, and especially Pride is what carries it. Pride, from the otome game, is a really, really horrible person. She isn't just mean or something like that, she's cruel and brutal. But when the MC is reborn as Pride, she decides to change that. Her motive becomes to help as many people as possible and that's what the anime shows her doing. I really like Pride as a main character. She's really intelligent and caring. Her relationship between her sibilings is really sweet, and she tries her best to take care of them, and they try their best to take care of her. Pride has to make hard choices, but she always does with humanity and while trying to do what's best for everyone. I suppose that's why I like the anime. I just really like seeing Pride helping people and the connections she's able to make through that. Now on the downside of this, is the pacing. In a lot of the episodes, at least for me personally it feels like nothing has really happened. It takes awhile for anything signifigant to happen. Along with this, the animation isn't all that great. The colors feel so bland and there's not too much fluidity to the movements. This isn't to say that the animation is bad by any means, but it isn't great. So to sum it up, I would say The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior is okay. It's not fantastic or anything, but it's not terrible. I'm glad to watch another Josei and I think it is an enjoyable anime. It's just not the best. Side Note: The opening is really, really good. The colors are pretty, the movement is smooth and best of all, it shows Pride and all the people she's helped and connected with. Also the song is really catchy.
