While both of these shows are from the same studio and have the same art, they also have similar characters and plots. They both revolve around girls who put into new situations and groups of people. These protagonists, while fresh and new to their situations are very optimistic and are try to help everybody else despite their lack of willingness.
The main characters in Tari Tari and Hana-saku Iroha are cut from the same cloth. If you're interested in a story that revolves around an energetic, positive young woman who wants to help the people around her, check these two out.
I LOVE THIS ANIME!!! ITS SO UNIQUE!! ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS!!! THIS IS SOOO NOT YOUR TYPICAL ANIME! I RECOMMEND THIS ANIME!! YOU ALL SHOULD WATCH THIS!!
It's the first day of high school, and plenty of school clubs are doing their best to recruit new members. However, for ditzy Yui, none of them seem to fit the bill. However, when she accidentally signs up to join the light music club, Yui begins a hilarious adventure to become a world class guitarist! There's just one problem: she's never played the guitar...

Both are about friends in a school band. Furthermore, both are absolutely gorgeous-looking with cute characters (even the boys, in Tari Tari, are adorable!) Tari Tari has more drama than the easy-going K-On! but they both go hand-in-hand for fans of Slice of Life anime about music and school kids.
So well, both are based around the idea of music and a music club. However K-on's light music club is a all girl club and Tari Tari's choir is a mix. Tari Tari and K-on are also both about restarting/creating new clubs. Both also have references to the previous choir/light music club. The final thing is that they have similar genres...School Club/Life, Slice of Life and Music! So if you liked one you should like the other.
Glasslip follows the story of Touko Fukami, an aspiring glass-blower whose family runs a glass-working business. During the summer, she and her four friends meet a transfer student, Kakeru Okikura, who claims that a voice from the future lead him to Touko. His arrival sets off a chain of events for the six of them that will make their final summer...

Both anime center around a group of friends with a very driven female lead. Both have hints of romance among the friend group. They are also both from the studio PA Works, so both look gorgeous with similar animation and character designs. If you like the art and romantic slice of life friend interactions of one, check out the other for sure!
Similar in some ways and as it is from the same studio they are stunningly beautiful but Tari Tari wins clearly because there you had e clearer story (though thin too) than Glasslip that was really a hasty project in my oppinion. If you like the slow paced slice of life, this is the right shows, but I loved the music in Tari Tari and will favor that one. :)
