If you enjoy following cute and well-drawn girls throughout their daily lives and club activities, both of these series might be of interest to you; especially if you enjoy music or singing!

In both series you get to follow the protagonists and their music clubs. While K-On! has taken more of the MOE-approach, Tari Tari is one closer to reality with well developed characters.

In short words, I'd say that Tari Tari is very similar to K-On! and the differences would be that K-On! is more of a MOE-anime, while Tari Tari is more serious.

Both are about friends in a school band. Furthermore, both are absolutely gorgeous-looking with cute characters (even the boys, in Tari Tari, are adorable!) Tari Tari has more drama than the easy-going K-On! but they both go hand-in-hand for fans of Slice of Life anime about music and school kids.

So well, both are based around the idea of music and a music club. However K-on's light music club is a all girl club and Tari Tari's choir is a mix. Tari Tari and K-on are also both about restarting/creating new clubs. Both also have references to the previous choir/light music club. The final thing is that they have similar genres...School Club/Life, Slice of Life and Music! So if you liked one you should like the other.

Love Live and Tari Tari, have the same sort of feel in the sense that both start out with this girl who has a crazy idea about starting a singing group, in the case of Love Live, it's school idols to save the school, and in Tari Tari it's a choir club to make the one girl's dreams come true her senior year.  I would say that so far, Tari Tari is the better show of the two and has much wider appeal, but Love Live is pretty decent.  If you liked one of the two, and you're looking for something similar to watch, it wouldn't hurt to check out the other.

As for Love Live, I would say give it until the end of the 3rd episode to make a full judgement.  I'm currently watching it as it's airing, and I was only somewhat intrigued until this week (the 3rd ep), but now I'm pretty interested to find out where it goes from here.

Both anime while the execution is similar are quite different in tone and eventual content. Notably all characters in Tari Tari are third years and this brings a slightly different feeling to the anime. Tari Tari is more dramatic and less joyful but still has a setting with great resemblence. If you are looking for a emotionally heavier Love live, check Tari Tari out. If you are looking for a fluffier Tari Tari check Love Live out.

Madoka Madoka says...

Tari Tari and Love Live both use a similar theme of the schools being in their final years before closing, whilst they differ a little in how the music theme is used and developed they strike very similar elements with one another. Whilst love live is a little more lighter on the drama and a bit more on the happy, light/fluffy side of the coin, Tari Tari is a bit more serious with how it's story is built and develops. Despite this they still have lot's in common which im sure will become apparent quite early, if one was enjoyable for you, you should give the other a try, just remember that Love Live is a bit more laid back whilst Tari Tari is a bit more serious, but both are very good series and enjoyable.

While both of these shows are from the same studio and have the same art, they also have similar characters and plots. They both revolve around girls who put into new situations and groups of people. These protagonists, while fresh and new to their situations are very optimistic and are try to help everybody else despite their lack of willingness.

The main characters in Tari Tari and Hana-saku Iroha are cut from the same cloth. If you're interested in a story that revolves around an energetic, positive young woman who wants to help the people around her, check these two out.

Looking for an anime about a group of high school kids that has deeper character development than your run-of-the-mill light comedy? Both AnoHana and Tari Tari are rife with themes of relationships, death, friendship, trying to become something, and working together to overcome obstacles and fulfill goals and dreams. Both are topped off with a bright animation style, which ultimately affirms a positive outlook on life, no matter what the characters are put through.

I really enjoyed both of these anime to start us off. Kokoro Connect is a drama based in a school, similar to Tari Tari. Both include a school club of some sort which both have 3 girls and 2 boys. The main difference is that Kokoro Connect is more about a supernatural matter compared to Tari Tari which is about a normal school club. However I think that they are both really enjoyable and if you liked one you should like the other!
