Synopsis:

Ten years have passed since the demise of the bubble economy, a time that polarized the world into two groups of people: the rich and the poor. In the present day, Saiga Tatsumi (a former war photographer) has been hired to investigate a secret club for the rich named the Roppongi Club, but he soon discovers secrets much darker than he’d ever imagined. With the help of a exploited goddess named Kagura, Saiga now possesses the power to kill by simply taking a photograph; but can he stay alive long enough to save her from her captors?

Both Deadman Wonderland and Speed Grapher at very similar for many reasons. The main characters in their respective series are forced to fight or flight and are infused with special powers which they use to protect/save their friends/love interests. There are provocative scenes, character deaths, and lots of gore. If you're interested in more mature types of anime then these are for you.

Also there are characters that use their blood as weapons in both anime :) If you liked one I'm sure you'll love the other.

Both anime are dark and show what lies in the underworld that normal people wouldn't generally be aware of. Durarara is slightly faster paced and jumbled where speed grapher actually takes the time to explain things to the viewer. Action packed with some random sprees of violence. Check one out if you liked the other.

Both are darker series, both in unique animation style and plot lines. Speed Grapher and Erog Proxy also both feature very abstract, futuristic and apocalyptic worlds. Also, both are similar in that the protagonists are slightly jaded and trying to survive with their newfound knowledge. Raging against the machine and all that.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

The foundation of alchemy is based on the law of equivalent exchange; you cannot produce something from nothing. As such, alchemy is bound by one taboo - human transmutation. Four years ago two young brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric, broke this taboo when they tried to resurrect their dead mother. During the process Al's body disintegrated and Ed lost his leg. In a desperate attempt to prevent his brother from disappearing completely, Ed sacrificed one of his arms so he could affix Al's soul to a suit of armor. When his missing limbs are replaced by auto mail parts, Ed bears the name of the Fullmetal Alchemist - the youngest ever State Alchemist and dog of the military. Now, alongside his brother, Ed uses his status within the military to attempt to find any way that he can return their bodies back to their original state.

Both anime feature heroes and villains with strange powers. Also, both are very dark and sometimes quite violent, but with some lighthearted bits as well.

The antagonists the these anime are really alike: smart and full of charisma, they charm people into doing there bidding and if that doesn't work they bribe with their incredible wealth or show their scary side to intimidate. Both try to get as much power as possible to take revenge on the people who did them wrong. Other then that: both anime tell a story about the dark and ugly side of the rich, though they do so in a different way.

If you did like the villain in one of them, you should check out the other.
