Special A = School Rumble + Ouran High School Host Club Male lead in love with the totally adorable and equally dense and clueless female lead who doesn't notice his feelings even if slapped in the face with them..... check.... Pompous, rich and good-looking people that can do anything and everything to perfection and are clearly superior to all humans and even posses hearts of gold.... check.... ^^ + all 3 are fantastic series

Though Kimikiss Pure Rouge doesn't have the same competition theme that Special A does, the romance is lighthearted in both. If you liked Special A for its playful atmostphere, then you'll also like Kimikiss.

Now, amidst helping various cats with mundane and trivial issues, Kousaka must try to dispel the jinx and attempt to salvage his self-respect – not to mention his love life - along the way.

Fans of Special A or Nyan Koi possibly would like the opposite anime; the reasons being that both are romances with some (moreso in Special A) drama, cute couples, and lovable characters alongside much humour.

Both anime focus on a group of high school friends. Both of the leading male and female characters are childhood friends and start to fall in love with each other.

Both animes are about a cute female lead that lives life with a great group of friends, and is oblivious to her love interests. Both are great cheery animes :)
